New Media Centers

The Northwestern University New Media Center (NUNMC) works with faculty, students, and staff within the NU community to foster the use, development, and integration of new media in higher education. The NUNMC provides new media software in various computing and media facilities on campus, provides quality training, consulting, and self-paced learning materials, and works with the NU community in developing new media titles and multimedia enhanced learning environments.

NUNMC is a part of the international consortium of New Media Centers and is jointly sponsored by Northwestern's University Library and Academic Technologies. Northwestern has been a member of the consortium since acceptance of their proposal in 1996.

NUNMC is located in Digital Media Services, a unit of the Marjorie I. Mitchell Multimedia Center in the Northwestern University Library.

For more information on Northwestern's New Media Center you can email the NUNMC Director, M. Claire Stewart or phone 847.467.1437.
