| The Northwestern University New Media Center (NUNMC)
works with faculty, students, and staff within the NU community
to foster the use, development, and integration of new media in
higher education. The NUNMC provides new media software in various
computing and media facilities on campus, provides quality training,
consulting, and self-paced learning materials, and works with
the NU community in developing new media titles and multimedia
enhanced learning environments.
NUNMC is a part of the international
consortium of New Media Centers and is jointly sponsored by
Northwestern's University
Library and Academic
Technologies. Northwestern has been a member of the consortium
since acceptance of their proposal
in 1996.
NUNMC is located in Digital
Media Services, a unit of the Marjorie
I. Mitchell Multimedia Center in the Northwestern University
Library.
