Using Macromedia Fireworks

 

Introduction

Macromedia Fireworks is an image editing and creation tool which blends some of the pixel-based techniques used in Photoshop with the vector-based (or object-based) techniques used in programs like Illustrator and FreeHand. Fireworks is specifically designed for web-deliverable images and includes tools for creating animated GIFs, imagemaps, Javascript-based rollover buttons as well as optimized palettes for web delivery.
